A site visit is most useful when it answers a defined set of questions. Arrange authorized access, record what you actually inspect and keep observed conditions separate from promises about future improvements.
The DLF The Dahlias decision
The Dahlias has its own official project presence and approvals in DLF 5. It should not inherit Sector 63, apartment sizes or configurations from an unrelated listing.
Record the exact project entry and tower context during an arranged visit. A view over the wider golf neighbourhood does not establish the view or completion stage of an individual home.
Put the enquiry in context
A high-value quote needs a precise unit and itemized scope. Separate base consideration, additional items, sale route and future payment obligations before comparing alternatives.
Make two kinds of notes
Keep observations and unanswered questions in separate columns. An accessible road, a working lift or visible construction can be recorded as seen on a particular visit. A future service, promised opening or expected travel time remains a question until independently confirmed.
Capture the exact property context
Write down the date, address and unit or plot visited. Take photographs only with permission and label them accurately. If you only see the entrance or a model space, do not treat that visit as an inspection of the offered property.
After the visit
Send the unanswered questions to the seller or advisor and request written responses for material points. Revisit when a key daily condition, such as access or operating hours, cannot be assessed at the first appointment. A second visit should resolve an identified uncertainty, not repeat a sales tour.
Your working checklist
| Decision point | What to record |
|---|---|
| Tower | Identify what is being inspected |
| Date | Record observation and evidence date |
| Milestone | Separate visible work from forecasts |
| Timeline | Ask for current documented references |
Ask for the next useful information
Send the property name and the specific unanswered questions, rather than requesting an unspecified best offer. Use the DLF The Dahlias project enquiry page to request the relevant plan, current sale options or an arranged visit. Current availability and unit specifications require confirmation for the property actually being offered.
